Themes From Dreams
  Tatopani

Tatopani, a Tokyo-based trio, has been together since 1994. In that time, their music has continued to evolve while maintaining the improvisational spirit and freedom which initially brought them together. With their wide-range of musical instruments and backgrounds, they produce a diversity of sound you might not expect from a trio.

Themes from Dreams is a collection of musical themes—dreamed, remembered and pieced together. It documents compositions Tatopani has performed in concert over the past few years, as well as showing the current state of the group's ongoing musical development. Included in the CD booklet are descriptions and illustrations of the instruments employed by Tatopani from all over the world.
