David Maddux
David Maddux has composed and arranged music in a variety of applications for nearly four decades. Providing services as arranger and orchestrator, he has created materials for Harvey Fierstein, Rosemary Clooney, Lily Tomlin, Debbie Reynolds, Lesley Gore, Frederica Von Stade, Ann Hampton-Callaway, Judith Martin (“Miss Manners”), Leslie Jordan [Will And Grace, Sordid Lives], Nell Carter, author Armistead Maupin, and Broadway lyricist Martin Charnin, gospel artist Sandi Patti, and studio group First Call. His a cappella jazz vocal production, “An Evening In December” was nominated for a Grammy Award. He has scored a number of films; most recently the 60’s-era gay/horror spoof, Creatures From The Pink Lagoon, and is composer for the popular web series, Where The Bears Are. He acted as orchestrator and conductor for the $9.1M Orlando-based stage spectacle, Ben Hur: The Musical. Creator of musical revues for men's choruses, his themed shows are performed around the country.
